Momma Amy has had quite the journey over the past few months, but she is finally ready for a home of her own!

 

At the beginning of March she showed up in a shelter with her six 1-week old kittens (named Sheldon, Lenny, Penny, Howie, Bernie & Raj ). We think she was probably a stray that was wary of people, but once she had babies, someone was able to catch her and get her to the shelter, which then got the whole family into a rescue.

 

She was quite skinny and skittish at the beginning, but she has been a great mom (all of her babies are very healthy) and now she herself is at a healthy weight. After her spay surgery, she really started to come around! She regularly talks / calls for foster mom to come feed her, lol. But also loves head scratches and overall affection. 

 

She's also now coming out of 'her room' into the rest of the house. Which means she's interacting with several permanent adult cats AND dogs! She's doing amazingly well, showing respect to everyone so there have been no fights and overall she's just doing great. 

 

She would do well in a calm, respectful home. I can totally see her integrating with other chill cats and dogs. With more individual attention, she is going to continue to blossom into a great cat.
