He and his 4 siblings were rescued from an animal lover's backyard, and made it into the rescue. They are without doubt, the most affectionate, snuggly litter I've ever fostered (and I've fostered over 100 kittens at this point). They will all take turns climbing up onto the desk while I'm studying to gently ask for affection by rubbing on my arms with their head or body. If you pick them up or touch them in any way, they immediately start purring. 

 

The perfect mix of affectionate but not needy, confident but not obnoxious, respectful but not shy, playful but snuggly, social but independent. They are well socialized with other cats and dogs.

 

It's hard to miss Garnet's odd looking eyes. They were damaged due to a virus that his entire litter was exposed to when they were very young, still living on the streets. We administered eye meds for weeks upon weeks, and they are soooo much better! 

 

He has a vet appointment on Monday 8/5, and we should get a more definitive prognosis.

 

But this DOES NOT slow him down in any way. He plays with his siblings, runs through the house, comes to your voice, and absolute lovvvves to snuggle. Any human, he doesn't care!

 

She would do well in just about any home, including children. He is so gentle and patient.
